Workshop on World Environmental Day

On the occasion of World Environment Day, Chalantika Mobile Studio organized a day-long outreach program at Savar Government College, engaging a total of 350 students and youth in hands-on creative workshops. The initiative focused on using art as a medium to communicate collective concern and personal responsibility regarding plastic pollution and waste management. Through participatory activities and visual expression, participants were encouraged to reflect on everyday consumption habits and the environmental impact of plastic use. The workshops created an open platform for dialogue, enabling young people to articulate their perspectives and transform awareness into creative statements. By situating art within an educational institution, the Chalantika tour reinforced the role of creative practice in environmental advocacy, empowering students and youth to express their stance on sustainability and ecological responsibility through collective action and artistic engagement.
