Moner Kotha: A session on Mental Health
Life in the city can be pretty stressful and challenging. The coronavirus pandemic has dramatically turned our daily lives, and it has not become easier. Some of us have lost our dear ones to the pandemic; some have faced dire situations in their livelihood. The fear of losing our health, our dear ones, or seeing them suffer can be overwhelming.
Psychological upheavals have tormented many of us over time— stressful or painful episodes that are too difficult to bear. We have seen our dear ones helplessly suffer without knowing how to appropriately address their situation and be beside them when they need us the most.
Social circles- both in real life and the virtual sphere often get shaken at the unfortunate news of suicide. Are we equipped to process this delicate matter without propagating further harm?
Shunno has invited physicians working intimately in the mental health sector to share their experiences about approaching the sensitive issue of mental health.
We welcome you to this weekend’s mental health session at Shunno.
