Bhashajog-Khagrachari
Bhashajog in Khagrachari was conceived as a community-centered art initiative that engaged closely with indigenous and tribal communities, creating a space where language, identity, and visual expression intersected. Through participatory printmaking and creative activities, the program encouraged participants to reflect on their own linguistic heritage and cultural narratives, translating words, symbols, and lived experiences into visual form. Working within the local context allowed the workshops to unfold in dialogue with everyday life, traditions, and collective memory. The exchange was mutual—participants shared their stories and perspectives, while the process of making fostered confidence, connection, and creative ownership. Bhashajog in Khagrachari reaffirmed the importance of respecting linguistic diversity and cultural plurality, positioning art as a bridge between communities and as a means of celebrating indigenous voices through collective expression.
